Scope¶
DB-backed layer-classification rules engine with an admin CRUD UI and a per-firm coverage dashboard: DXF/DWG layers are auto-mapped to trade disciplines (HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical/Structural/Architectural/Fire Protection) via versioned rules, with manual override and one-click promote-override-to-rule when a new firm's naming convention appears. (Source: PIN-212, PIN-365.)
Acceptance criteria¶
- Layers auto-classified to a discipline via regex rules matched against AIA layer-naming conventions
- Admin rule management page: create/edit rules, scoped globally, per-firm, or per-project
- Coverage dashboard shows % classified vs. unclassified (MISC) per firm, color-coded (green under 15% MISC, amber 15-30%, red 30%+)
- Manual override available per layer, with an "overridden" indicator
- One-click promote an override into a permanent rule, with pattern suggestions
- Reclassify-all / by-firm / by-project actions to reapply rules after changes
- Discipline chips filter the drawing canvas view
Conor's comments¶
This should not be part of the side module rail, its part of the progress drawing module and should not be visbile to users.
Notes¶
Monorepo-only admin surface feeding drawing/takeoff classification; built but undocumented (gap-analysis)
