Scope¶

Real-time multi-user presence on the Bid/Estimate view: live indication of which cells other users are currently editing, so concurrent edits by different estimators don't collide unnoticed. (Source: PIN-279 — Loom L-001, decision D68.)

Acceptance criteria¶

Cells another user is actively editing show a thin colored border, color tied to that user
Hovering a presence avatar shows name + status, including which cell they're editing
Presence updates live via heartbeat; a user's indicator clears within 30 seconds of disconnecting
No locking — concurrent edits are visible, not blocked
Visible only to roles with bid-view permission
Presence is ephemeral (in-memory) — nothing persisted or logged

Grepped all 110 rows: no row mentions presence, co-editing, collaboration or realtime anywhere; this is platform capability, not a sheet decoration. Linear (PIN-279, Bid real-time presence) shows this Done — flagging for review since spec status here is still deferred/backlog; the same ticket also underlies the Estimate popout presence page.
