Scope¶
Vendor-side quote intake on the RFP: each vendor returns a quote (attached document, unit prices, totals, notes) which auto-populates the matching estimate line pricing. Cara AI detects when an upload is a revision of an earlier quote from the same vendor and highlights the price/line deltas instead of treating it as a new quote. (Source: PIN-136, PIN-334.)
Acceptance criteria¶
- Vendor returns a quote (attached document + unit prices, totals, notes) against the RFP
- Selected/parsed quote auto-populates the matching estimate line item pricing
- AI detects a re-upload is a revision of an earlier quote from the same vendor (line-item + scope-code match)
- Revision-confirmation modal shows a side-by-side diff before linking it to the prior quote
- Estimate sheet highlights the delta on confirm: changed prices highlighted, new lines marked "added", removed lines struck through
- Revision history (chain of prior quotes + dates) available from the vendor cell
- Every revision-link decision is audit-logged

[8/18 DESIGN] Correction: NOT merged into the Vendors rail. Outreach & RFP is a TAB ON THE BID RECORD; the Vendors rail stays a portfolio directory. One name everywhere: "Outreach & RFP". This is really smart import to the vendors tab on the estimate sheet. This should be a consolidated Vendors Tab.
