Scope

Role-aware Home dashboard: Executive, PM, and Estimating each get a distinct KPI strip and widget layout bound to real backend counts. A still-open nav change folds "Dashboard" into "Home" and gates the Executive Dashboard as the exec role's Home view. (Source: PIN-505, PIN-287, PIN-846.)

Acceptance criteria

  • PM layout: Active Projects, Daily Logs Open, Open Submittals, Open RFIs, Ongoing Projects — no estimator widgets
  • Executive/Owner/Senior-PM layout: Team Workload card + company-wide rollups (Active Bids, Pending Invites) plus portfolio/win-rate/profitability widgets
  • Estimating layout unaffected (Bids, Invites, Due This Week, Win Rate) — no regression
  • All role KPIs bound to real counts, no stub/placeholder values; labels match design
  • Single /dashboard route, layout branches internally by role category
  • Sidebar "Dashboard" renamed to "Home"; Executive Dashboard becomes the exec role's permission-gated Home (still open)

All the roles need to be fully scope, build and tested to only provided scoped access.

Notes

Role-based home exists; consolidation open. Linear: PIN-505 (role-based KPI dashboard, Done) and PIN-287 (PM + Executive layout variants, Done) are the correct match for this general Home dashboard; PIN-846 (Home nav rename + executive-gating, Backlog) tracks the still-open home/exec split. PIN-60 (Executive Dashboard) is a distinct, separately-tracked surface already cited on the financials-reporting module's own Executive Dashboard page — removed from here as a cross-module mismatch.
