Scope¶
Single SharePoint authorization browses all sites and drills into folders/years, replacing one-URL-per-folder pasting. Selected files land in a central staging area for review — not committed directly — where the user reorders, renames, and reclassifies AI-proposed folder/module/project assignments before approving; approved batches commit into the correct project/bid structure, documents, and module records. A SharePoint-created project must get an explicit Project Manager rather than silently defaulting to a placeholder user. (Source: PIN-678, PIN-787.)
Acceptance criteria¶
- One SharePoint authorization browses Estimating/Projects/Admin/Financial sites and drills into folders — no per-folder URL paste
- Selected files land in a staging area, not committed directly to a project or bid
- Staging review lets the user reorder, rename, reclassify (folder/module), and reassign project/bid before commit
- Approve commits staged files into the correct project/bid structure, documents, and module records
- AI learns from staging corrections to improve classification accuracy on later imports
- A SharePoint-created project requires an explicitly selected Project Manager, or is left unassigned — never silently defaulted to a placeholder system user

Open question for Conor¶
Point 7 (Conor's 8-week list): manual upload/import of drawings and other files — beyond SharePoint pulls — is now tracked as its own feature, manual drawing upload / import (PIN-1077), which reuses this stage→review→commit pipeline. Still open there: which file types we support (PDF, DWG, DXF, RVT), and whether drawings need to index and preview now (today they do not index).
