Priority: High
Scope¶
Vendor RFP creation + tracking during estimating: select estimate line items to request pricing on, send RFPs to vendors from the directory, and track responses through to a selected quote. (Source: PIN-136.)
Acceptance criteria¶
- RFP creation from the estimate: select line items to include in the vendor request
- RFP form: vendor selection (from directory), scope description, due date, special instructions
- RFP tracking states: Sent → Received → Reviewed → Selected / Rejected
- Vendor quote entry: unit prices, totals, notes, attached quote document
- Side-by-side quote comparison for the same scope items
- Selected quote auto-populates estimate line-item pricing
- RFP history on the vendor profile: RFPs sent, response rate, avg turnaround
Conor's comments¶
This is the RFP process after we get a bid, it should be built already? We send our RFP and track responding bids or quotes. Initatly the estimator should be able to attached the quote to the smart upload and the AI autosorts or the user should be able to drag and drop on in the bid folder documents/vendor tab either on to the vendor name or a central drop import area.
Notes¶
Sep/Oct; needs estimates dialed in first
Open question for Conor¶
No spec anywhere - is outbound bidding in scope for launch, and what does it entail?
