Scope¶
Cara's MVP surface: a draggable, context-aware floating chat (FAB) launchable from any screen, a full-page Cara Hub with per-user threaded chat history, and a homepage redesign with three action cards (Summarize / To-do list / Look up a vendor). Includes document upload/review in threads and role-based data masking. (Source: PIN-490, PIN-289, PIN-511.)
Acceptance criteria¶
- FAB opens an interactive chat pop-up from any screen, aware of what's on that screen
- Chat window is draggable/movable and persists its position
- "Open in Hub" promotes the floating chat into the full-page Hub without losing context
- Full-page
/caraHub: thread sidebar (history) + main chat panel + new-thread button - Threads are private per user and persist across sessions
- Dropping a Word/Excel/PDF into a thread lets Cara review it and answer questions
- Data Cara surfaces is masked by role (Estimator sees bid/estimate data, PM sees project data, Admin sees all)
- Hub homepage shows 3 action cards (Summarize / To-do list / Look up a vendor) wired to real actions
