Scope¶
RFP compose flow on Bid Detail: select estimate scope lines to include, pick vendors from the directory, and generate a single Pinley-branded RFP email (v1 static template) carrying the scope description, due date, and special instructions plus a document share link. (Source: PIN-136.)
Acceptance criteria¶
- Select estimate scope line items to include in the RFP
- Vendor selection from the vendor directory (multi-select)
- RFP form fields: scope description, due date, special instructions
- Single Pinley-branded static email template (v1; template builder deferred to October)
- Document share link embedded in the RFP email
- RFP history recorded on the vendor profile (count sent, response rate, avg turnaround)
Conor's comments¶
[8/18 DESIGN] Correction: NOT merged into the Vendors rail. Outreach & RFP is a TAB ON THE BID RECORD; the Vendors rail stays a portfolio directory. One name everywhere: "Outreach & RFP". This is mostly built as part of the RFP process. RFP workflow + send + 30-day link all ship. This will be mergeed into a single vendors tab. I will update the design and specs. There will be UI updates and we should review what else this impacts.
[8/27 CALL] Email template builder is cut, not deferred. v1 is a single static Pinley-branded template. The late-October schedule was an AI artifact from missing guidance; with the builder cut this is a much smaller build. Outreach & RFP + Vendors consolidate into one Quotes module.
Notes¶
Builder cut per 2026-08-27 call; v1 single static template. The 6+ wk / late-Oct estimate was for the builder and no longer applies.
Open question for Conor¶
Resolved 2026-08-27 (call): builder cut; v1 = single static template. Outreach & RFP + Vendors consolidate into one Quotes module.
